Seaford Stroke & Caring Club Charity Trust
Registered Charity No. 1080358
(open to Stroke & other disabled persons)

AIMS - To provide companionship & interest to stroke and other disabled persons, allowing a break for carers but they are welcome also should they so wish.

The Club has a varied programme - quizzes (some musical) slides, videos, various musical entertainment, talks, sometimes hands on projects e.g. flower arranging or card making, 2 or 3 tea outings, annual lunch & garden party.

Club meetings are held every Monday (bar Bank Holidays) at St James Trust, Blatchington Road, Seaford from 2.00 - 4.00p.m.  The afternoon starts with entertainment, followed by tea & homemade cakes (cheese or plain scones for our diabetics) then half an hour of Bingo with small prizes.  Bingo might not be a favourite of everyone, but they all join in.  Bingo is helpful as it helps concentration and co-ordination.  There is help available to mark cards, if needed.

Some transport can be provided within Seaford/Bishopstone only. Anyone wishing to come from outside our designated area would be made welcome but would have to provide their own transport.

We are always appreciative of new car drivers to keep the existing rota operating at 1 week in 3. A mileage allowance is available if required.
